For a leading cement company in Oman, we developed the first decarbonization roadmap, including conducted a thorough assessment of baseline emissions and energy usage, devise of process control systems to optimize kiln operations, feasibility assessment of integrating alternative fuels and raw materials, definition of a white list of decarbonization actions and prioritization based on impact/redditivity ratio, development of a timeline, analysis of implementation readiness and internal stakeholder strategy, definition of organizational and PMO needs thereof, overall reporting framework and roadmap to an effective reporting, positioning in relevant international sector dialogue on sustainability.
