For a pioneering solar manufacturing company aiming to capitalize on the Gulf abundant solar resources and support the country's renewable energy goals we assessed feasibility of setting up a high-efficiency PV panels manufacturing facility in 3 different countries of the Gulf, with a deep dive on Saudi Arabia. Our scope included mapping of regulatory and stakeholder landscape, drafting of the business case, timeline and organizational structure evolutionary path, market analysis on Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region and positioning recommendations, coordination in the definition of facilities, equipment and technology requirements, definition of PMO requirements, assistance in the process of securing the necessary licenses and approvals from relevant government authorities, development of performance metrics to track the facility's efficiency and competitiveness, setup of reporting mechanisms for sustainability compliance and continuous improvement.
