Market strategy for Tier-1 Chinese Manufacturer (2022)
Supported a pioneering solar manufacturing company with a feasibility study for the setup of a high-efficiency PV panel manufacturing facility in the Gulf. Our involvement included mapping regulatory and policy frameworks, drafting of the business cases, definition of technology requirements. We outlined roadmap to obtain necessary licenses and approvals, developed performance metrics to ensure the facility’s competitiveness and outlined organizational requirements for compliance with local HSE standards and local content requirements.
Decarbonization pathways for a leading cement company (2022)
Decarbonization roadmap for leading cement company in Morocco, which included assessing baseline emissions, optimizing energy usage, and integrating alternative fuels. Our work involved creating a decarbonization timeline, prioritizing actions, and defining stakeholder strategies. We also set up a framework for sustainability reporting and supported the company’s engagement in international dialogues on sustainability.
Structuring of a new ESG Summit (2025)
we advised on the setup of the UAE and KSA World ESG Summits first editions, featuring discussions on ESG principles, financing, environmental and circularity requirements, governance policies and regional corporate strategies aligned with the countries’ visions. Work included concept and content structuring, definition of run-of-show, speakers selection and conduction.
Track 2 Energy Diplomacy on Grids (2025)
co-leading of the Technical Working Group on Financing Green Grids and Interconnectors within the Green Grids Initiative, and co-led the establishment of Finance Principles for Green Grids. Engagement included group steering, drafting of the Principles initial and revised configuration, development of case studies, production and dissemination of knowledge products at UN-level events, endorsement and stakeholder engagement roadmap, running of the related stakeholders consultations leading to COP30 presidency, IRENA/UNEZA and MDBs backing (among others), development of grid-focused COP30 Ministerial in collaboration with partner organizers.

Climate Adaptation and Biodiversity Financing (2025)
for UNESCWA, drafted high-level Concept Notes for 12 Biodiversity projects in the MENA (nature-based solutions, land degradation and renewables for ecosystem services) and a report individuating regional and international sources of funding and establishing a match-making methodology for the projects, reviewed the structure and content of the Arab Biodiversity Forum (Beirut, 2025) and moderated one of its sessions.
Climate and Health (2025)
Project Preparation Facility documentation for a 88m USD multi-country project on Climate and Health, for submission to the Green climate Fund (GCF), for a Direct Access Entity (DAE).
