Filip Vandeputte is a former Senior Energy Advisor of the European Investment Bank and owner of a Belgian company specialized in the development of sustainable and energy-efficient industrial processes.
His expertise encompasses industrial engineering, biomass and e-fuels, waste-to-energy, circularity, sustainable transport and industrial energy efficiency.
For the EIB, Filip performed technical due diligence of major clean energy investments in excess of 5b USD, within and outside Europe. Filip has also extensively worked in China and across South East Asia in sustainability consulting.
He holds a Master degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from IHAM Antwerp and an MBA from Antwerp Business School.
